As of recent times, we've been fairly inactive on our website and our social media platforms...but that is not to say nothing is happening. In fact, we're stronger than ever. In the past six months lots of exciting things have happened. D.Ni.L, blasted onto the underground scene with his album 'This In't a Party'. An album which shed light on the struggles of addiction to the backdrop of hardcore hip hop beats and lyrical flair. This is now a common theme in the music of D.Ni.L as he released his second album 'Suicide in Sips' to critical acclaim. But this time, the guitars were heavier, and so was the message in his lyrical content.
We've got a plethora of new artists in our ranks. Vulcan Cicada, a young man who pens music about the torments of mental illness showcases his range of musical talents and influences on his debut EP The Man of the Meadows. Wasabi Fire Alarm, who are made up on former members of the band Resistance stick to their post-gothic punk style to deliver their message on the importance of rebellion, insecurity and outright freedom of expression. Resistance's former member, Sin-Bad has embarked on a solo career. Highly influenced by the likes of John Cooper Clarke, his stories are as real as real can get, and he doesn't mind if the truth hurts. One of our teenage acts, Raya, released her debut single 'Midnight Man' after her standout performance at the Barbican this year.
The aim of our label is to give those marginalised by society in any way to have a voice. A voice that is often not heard and is often shunned by those who shout the loudest. Musically as well we will go stronger as we move our labels base into a brand new recording studio. Exciting times are ahead of us as our artists gear up for new releases whilst we keep our eyes firmly peeled for new additions to our label.
Happy New year to all our supporters! This wonderful track has been released to chime with the New Year's Eve celebrations. We hope you enjoy Buttercream 87's first release on the Musication label!

Secondly, Musication is releasing a sampler album, compiled of graduates from the Musication course. Included on this is Resistance ft Sin Bad with the single 'A Dying Man'.
